Bizarro iPhone Apps: my Dad Is a Moron – ihave2know

I ‘ve often said that the descriptions on bizarro iPhone apps are comedy gold.  And in the case of today ‘s app, the app title also fits that bill, complete with bizarre spelling within it.

Oh, and of course the description doesn ‘t disappoint either.

Do you want to discover things about your Dad he always tried to hide? Things he will NEVER admit to you but you’ll know anyway? Things like: – Is he a moron?

Once again, I appear to have lead too sheltered a life “ but I just can ‘t recall spending a lot of time wondering if my dad was somehow hiding from me the fact that he was a moron.

Here ‘s a little more of the app ‘s description, with some, ummm, interesting suggestions on questions it can help you resolve:

Did you actually inherit his looks? – Did he ever meet with extra-terrestrials? But only knowing ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ is not enough. You also want to know: – If he is a moron, how bad his case is? If he is not, what is he – you need some explanations! – If you inherited his looks, are you in deep trouble? Did you inherit only parts of his body? Which ones? – If he met with extra-terrestrials, what really happened? If not, how you explain his strange bathroom noises and other abnormal events?

Some quick reactions to those: Wow and whoa and where does any of that come from?  I ‘m thinking on the question of inheriting looks I might give a mirror a try before resorting to an app.  The extra terrestrials and strange bathroom noises “ well, yikes “ I really should ‘ve observed my dad more closely.

Here ‘s probably my favorite part of the descrip page though, which is nicely captured in the screencap top of the post as well:

This really is the complete package then “ check whether you look like your dad, work out whether or how much of a moron he is, ponder on the old man ‘s alien abduction, and pop some balloons. Yeah, all the classic ingredients are there I guess. 🙂
