Its high quality, high energy and attention grabbing slideshows surprised me. I envisioned simple, normal slide in/out; fade in/out type transitions.

I also wasn't sure how they would be able to implement video with the pace of the transitions they were doing. It seemed like videos would detract from the pace of the slide show. After watching the linked video, however, it looks like they may be able to still pull it off. It looks very nice but I guess they will have to have some method of specifying the portion of the video you want shown during the transition. If it were to play the whole video before going to the next, it would be less of a slide show than transitions between full videos
