
I ‘m continuing my little experiment with keeping my iPhone 3GS running without a reboot, and seeing how it performs / how long it will be before a restart is really needed.
As you can see in the screencap on the right, it ‘s over 21 days now. Although free memory has often got quite low, I ‘ve still never ‘felt it ‘, as in I ‘ve still never seen any lag or freeze-ups in any apps, or in general.
The screencap on the left is from yesterday, and shows only 5MB of free memory. It surprised me when I saw that while prepping for this post “ as the iPhone was still running smooth as ever (though I did take the liberty of freeing some up once I saw that figure).
So, status at 21 days “ still solid as a rock.
