Evernote updated: startup time improvement and bug fixes

Y’know, it always makes my day when the Evernote iPhone app is updated. I could eat one nacho (without cheese) for lunch and have but one sip of prune juice to quench my thirst and my day would still be complete if Evernote received an update.

This one is actually a little bit of a mystery, though. It says right at the top that the load times have been improved, but I don’t really notice any difference on my 3GS. I compared the older version to the newer one, and they’re both pretty blazingly fast. The one difference I can see is that the app now launches on the New Note tab so that you can launch Evernote and get right to the remembering — whereas before it would just load up the last tab or note that you were viewing. I’m not sure I like this new mode, since it was useful to have Evernote remember your spot in cases where you needed to do a fair amount of copy and pasting. As for the network and synchronizations fixes — I’ve always been fine on Rogers. Maybe it’s a US thing? 😛
