I don ‘t experiment much with iPhone cases, and I ‘ve had mostly good luck with the few I have used over the years. This morning I just read a post by Larry Greenberg over at Gear Diary that provides a cautionary tale if you are considering a case from a company called Rebel Scholar.
The long story short is that the case Larry got, the ‘Door Gods ‘ model shown above, looks nothing like what ‘s shown above in real life “ at least not on the case that Larry got. And it would seem it ‘s not just a one-off or a fluke, as the response from Rebel Scholar when Larry emailed them was pretty lame and unhelpful “ a lot of nonsense about how the case appears in different lighting conditions (none of which is mentioned in the Rebel Scholar site ‘s description of the case).
Anyway, as I said, I don ‘t often go looking for new cases “ but if you do, you may want to give Larry ‘s post a look HERE “ and maybe steer clear of at least that particular case.
