Which iPhone firmware / OS version are you on? purplera1n does not work with 3.0.1 or beyond, and will not be made to work with those. Redsn0w is your friend for 3.0.1 – but check the Dev Team's blog for latest tools and which versions they work with.

Woo Hoo!! I can't believe it! PJ has joined the land of the living(and hacking)!! LOL Just messing with you, but I have to say I am definately glad to see you have done it. I've been a daily reader and rss follwer for about 10 months now, and I love your site. You always find the "little things" that I seem to have have missed, so i'm anxious to see what you'll discover and bring to light now, as we both share jailbroken 3GS'.
