Apple Wrapping Up Development on Mac OS X 10.5.8?

MacRumors is reporting they have received word that Apple has released a new build (9L30) of Mac OS X 10.5.8 to developers. This release has only one documented change and no outstanding issues.

The previous build (9L29) of 10.5.8. was released only five days before this one. Increased speed of seeding on Apple’s part, is a classic sign that development may be coming to and end, and a release will be imminent.

10.5.8 is widely expected to be the last, or one of the last releases of Mac OS X Leopard before Apple shift all engineering talent to Snow Leopard.

Snow Leopard is scheduled for release in September and will cost $29.
