Snow Leopard to Go On Sale August 28th? Training Begins for Support Staff?

Macenstein is claiming that they have acquired information that suggests Snow Leopard will be on sale August 28th. What kind of information would lead someone to make this claim? Well, it appears that the Apple Support members are receiving training for Snow Leopard.

According to reliable sources, support training for Snow Leopard has begun, signaling an imminent release of the next major release of OS X. Sources claim a date of Friday, August 28th is extremely likely.

There have been several other sources claiming that Snow Leopard will launch on August 28th. This of course is ahead of Apple’s September release window for Snow Leopard.
MacRumors also reports that someone claiming to be an AppleCare representative is suggesting that Apple has given the support staff there, a disc with the “Gold Master” build of Snow Leopard to install on their machines. The same source also claims that AppleCare representatives were given Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard one week in advance of it’s launch back in October of 2007. So this may be a similar situation, and a Snow Leopard release could be imminent.
