The iPhone’s App Store needs to be smarter about links

So here I am sitting in a rocking chair and trying to look for some games to complete my relaxation package (hint: the rocking chair is half of the kit) when I stumble across a Chillingo game I might want to buy. I also see that there’s a YouTube video link at the bottom of the page.
Unfortunately it’s just plain text. I can’t tap on it to launch the YouTube app or even the browser. Worse still, I can’t even select the text to paste it into my browser. Whoever designed the App Store must not have realized that developers might include information other than text in the description section. I’m no programmer, but I can’t see why this can’t be fixed by a quick software update from Apple to re-tool the iPhone’s App Store to be smarter about links and videos, just like the Notes app.
This seems like a pretty pathetic oversight to me. Not everyone surfs the App Store on a Mac or PC. [EDIT: Nevermind, the desktop version can’t select text either!]
