MacRumors is reporting that the UK Apple Online store is now displaying the ship date for Snow Leopard’s Up-to-Date program. The date? August 28th. Regular readers should recognize that date. It has been mentioned by several sources recently. As a matter of fact, there was one yesterday.
Checking the equivalent store pages for other countries, they still display a ship date of September. So this may be a fluke.
Snow Leopard is the next major release of Mac OS, and will sell for $29. If you bought a Mac on or after June 8th 2009 you are eligible to purchase Snow Leopard for $9.95 via Apple’s Up-to-date program.
