That's why this, coupled with the fact that the spotify app can store music for offline play (!!! already synced in like, 2+ days worth of music), is pretty much The killer app for me.
(especially since I've moved out of Sweden and out of necessity had to subscribe in order to continue using the service anyway)

Also, though it might not be as easy to manage as on the desktop version, it is entirely possible to create new playlists, add single tracks or complete albums into it, and delete tracks from it (though only one track at a time).

Since I wrote the above I've noticed a few more annoyances – if I want to pause the music I'm listening to I still instinctively use the pause button on my headphones but of course this doesn't work with Spotify and just starts the iPod up. Also the iPod has mysteriously started playing a few times immediately after closing the Spotify app.

Ultimately though I am willing to pay the subscription and forgive the obvious flaws because it has given me access to so much extra music that I probably would never get round to buying or going to the hassle of illegally downloading.

If you are jailborken and have backgrounder, this app is brilliant.

If you are not jailbroken then it is a nice gimmick, but ultimately not worth the subscription.

It would have been great with a "buy" button linking to itunes, but I guess they use that as a leverage against apple so they can be allowed to run spotify in the background in the future.

I also miss the radio feature from the desktop version…
