There are so many features, for $1, it's a no-brainer if you want to edit your photos at all. My biggest one is cropping. I know that doesn't seem like a big deal, but again, Apple offers nothing, so even the "little" features are useful.

I'm not arguing with you here , but it might actually be a good thing that Apple hasn't bothered ot make up photo editing software…then they'd lock all the 3rd party apps out for duplicating Apple's iPhone functionality or some such crap 😛

But I can't stop wondering why on earth there is not a built-in app for that alread? Even a smaller core feature list would do nicely

Clearly any device having a camera and callings itself "smart" should have one! Coming from Nokia camp this was one of the biggest shocks I had to overcome as a new iPhone owner.
