One of the things that is always great to see on a blog site is an increase in comments and conversation. I ‘m extremely happy to see that we have more and more good conversation on this site recently. So I think this is a good time to mention a quick tip for how to get your comments to sail through much more quickly on here.
The deal is that we use a 3rd party comments system, called Intense Debate. If you register with Intense Debate “ which is free of course and very easy and painless to do “ and have just one first comment with your Intense Debate ID approved, then all your subsequent comments are approved automatically.
I ‘m relatively quick at manually approving comments during ‘daytime ‘ sort of hours (in my time zone “ US Central) “ but not so quick once it ‘s evening / late night time. So getting registered with Intense Debate lets your comments sail through immediately even when I ‘m not around “ and also instantly makes you one of my bestest site pals, as it means a little less manual moderating for me to do. 🙂
To get registered with Intense Debate just click on that pretty blue button below the ‘Post a New Comment ‘ area, then click the ‘Create an account ‘ link in the popup dialog, enter a username, email address, and password and hit the large blue ‘Sign Up ‘ button and you ‘re all done.
As soon as you get one comment approved when logged in with the new Intense Debate ID, then all your future comments go through with no need to wait for moderation.
