MacRumors is reporting that they are receiving tips from several sources claiming that Apple is planning to enhance it’s iPhone purchasing experience in it’s retail stores. Reportedly, these changes could take effect as early as today, where store layouts would be changed to create “iPhone activation zones”. Here, customers could walk in, purchase and active their iPhone after completing the pre-authorization process at home, online.
These “activation zones”, would be staffed by a new breed of Apple retail employee. They would have their unique name badges, and different colored shirts to differentiate them from other Apple Store employees.
