I often carried my former Motorola Razr in a pocket, stuck a hotel card/key in the same pocket, and have to go back to the front desk because the phone erased the magnetic strip. That hasn't happened with my credit cards (when I'm not attentive) with my iPhone, but with extended use, I wonder if it increases the likelihood?

That would be true of a wallet with credit cards & ID as well… I tend to be protective of my iPhone!

Please steal all of my crap at once!" Or what happens if you leave your phone on a table somewhere? The whole rest of your life is there with it.

My v1 was in a case all the time. My 3G and 3GS have been naked with only an invisible shield on the back. My phone is always in my pocket or on my desk. I haven't had any problems. 🙂 I did order an engraved metallic series case from More. I'm waiting on that (from hong kong). It's really thin, and that's my prerogative.

I like this concept, expect, I don't want to pull my cards and cash out every time I'm using the phone…

Your office environment might be ok, but how about standing outside advertising your cash and credit cards in the back of the iPhone case? I doubt highly you will see to many of these cases.

@Rxmxsh – I kept mine with "skins" on it most of the time. I had to get a replacement 3Gs recently and bought an Incase Slider which has changed how I feel about cases.

@Jerry – depends on your environment. I work in an office of professionals and for the most part trust all of them. I'm not saying you leave this kind of case laying around … but let's be honest, if you left your phone out where someone had time to steal your credit card, they're likely to just steal your whole phone and a lost credit card would be the least of your worries… replacing the $600 phone would be the big one.

@shobizz3000 – been there, done that, forgot my wallet so I couldn't buy the t-shirt. They did not give an ETA, but most times we get stuff pretty quick.

Fail if you expect it to replace your wallet.
It only holds two cards at any given time, and there's no way to hold folding money.
Most folks I know, including myself, carry at least three to four cards.
For wallet minimalism, I use a Storus Smart Money Clip. Holds up to 5 cards, plus cash.

I hate bulky wallets! With a passion! So i've always just carried the very thin, no fold style with a money clip on it. And truthfully I don't even need that whole thing. Not a big cash carrier, so as long as I have my ID and debit card i'm good. And like you said Brandon, I too ALWAYS have my phone! I'll leave my wallet at home by mistake before I leave my iphone lol. Did they give u any idea of an ETA for your test case? Gonna try to hold out for your review before I purchase!

Who in their right mind would carry cash and/or credit cards sitting in plain view when using the iPhone? Dumb idea.

I can't wait to read the review. I love how my iPhone is replacing stuff I tend to carry everyday like my iPod~Camera~Wallet….. I am hoping for an app to start my car that would take care of my keys.
