If you’re on the fence about buying Comics (although that’s not a very high fence, since the app is only $0.99, so you’re probably a little uncomfortable and sitting awkwardly), then why not try the free version of the app? It has all of the free Comics of the retail version, but none of the buying capabilities. This way you’ll get to see if the unique panel-by-panel presentation of Comics is really for you.
The app is rated at 17+ (I’m not sure why, I don’t remember that much gore or sexiness) and is available in the App Store now.
