Thanks for all the info. All good to know. Shame there's not a 'Legends' sort of section for guys like Wilson – but it sounds like a potentially very fun game anyway.

What more could a darts game want? Darts has undergone a huge growth as a television sport in the UK and other areas of Europe largely fueled by exploits of Taylor, James Wade and Raymond van Barneveld — with the superb commentary of Waddell. It has never caught on in the US, primarily because it has been presented in "excerpt" format, short pieces that cut into the natural rhythm and drama of the game (it is like seeing a baseball game reduced to a half hour segment). But we go to Las Vegas every year to watch these players play in the Las Vegas Desert Classic.

Since this is a PDC game, I would not expect to see Jocky in it. Wilson is retired. Bristow got dartitis and primarily works with SkySports on the television coverage. But the current players have taken the sport to a new level.

As one who believes that professional darts captures the drama and emotion of human experience — with a touch of WWW showmanship thrown in — this game should be fun. We have the Wii version at home.
