Snapture Is In the App Store Now

Snapture “ the camera app that is miles (and miles) better than the built-in camera app “ has hit the App Store today, just as promised by the developers.  I posted a quick review of a pre-release version of this superb app, an old jailbreak favorite of mine, last night.

This app is packed with slick feature that ‘ll have you shunting the standard camera app to the last home screen straight away.  Here are some of them:

  • Picture-in-Picture QuickView “ press and hold on a thumbnail of a picture you ‘ve just taken to see it larger, slide the thumbnail across the screen to email the pic or delete it
  • Zoom via pinch and pan “ up to 5X zoom
  • High Speed Multishot “ burst mode “ 3 rapid fire snaps
  • Easy Snap “ tap anywhere on the screen to take a photo
  • Multiple Image Sizes “ Snapture allows for capture at full resolution
  • Level Aid
  • Auto / Manual Save
