Apple Retail Stores Now Have 'iPhone Activation Zones'

Last week, MacRumors originally reported that Apple was preparing to introduce ‘iPhone Activation Zones’ in their retail stores. This new initiative would be designed to help speed up the iPhone purchasing process. As it turns out, MacRumors was right, and Apple has begun to rearrange several of its stores to accommodate these new retail areas. Apple has also begun to mention these new ‘zones’ existence on their iPhone purchasing page.

ifoAppleStore has posted a photo showing iMacs setup to activate the devices. Reportedly, these areas can be found to the front-right of the entrance in participating stores.

Again, it appears Apple is determined to streamline as much of the iPhone experience as possible, for both developers and customers.
