I still like the look of the Xtand a bit more, I think. The cushions just let me sit the iPhone right in there, and taking them out lets me fit the iPhone in with a case (alhtough it's def. not a perfect fit).

Yes I like the stands but there are other things I rather buy for my iPhone right now. I am saving my $$$ for a GPS app & I am waiting to see what the car kits look like first. BUT, I really do like the look of the Platinum stand. Maybe Santa will be generous this year 🙂

External keyboards would be a nice option – though not one I desperately need. Then again, can't say I desperately need a stand either – even a very lovely one like these 🙂

I had one of these Podium stands for my 2G originally and now for my 3GS. I LOVE it. It is a staple item on my desk.

The world does not need another iPhone stand.

What we DO NEED is an EXTERNAL KEYBOARD for the iPhone!!

Bluetooth would be best, but I will take a wired one! PLEASE ANYONE!!
