Wow, when did this happen? Maybe I just don’t buy enough apps with in app purchases.
I was trolling the App Store earlier to check out other games I might possibly want to download and stumbled upon F.A.S.T. and its in-app purchse menu. If you tap on the line that says “Top In App Purchases” you’ll be taken to another screen that shows, well, the top in app purchases. I find this cool not just because it’s little bit of extra detail, but it means that Apple is willing to explore playing around with the App Store layout a bit more.
I ranted a little while ago about how URLs in the App Store (on the iPhone and on the desktop) aren’t clickable. How silly is that? However, if this “new” section of the App Store is any indication, we might see more interactive parts to app descriptions. YouTube video demos in the description anyone? Or, better yet, links write to JAiB reviews! Huzzah!
