One of my favourite top-down iPhone shooters, Minigore, has had its update rejected….again! The first time was because the app crashed upon launch, and the second was because of a corrupted binary. Developer Mountain Sheep is going to have to re-submit all over again, but they did do something really cool for eagerly awaiting fans: they’ve opened 99 extra beta slots so that the most active Minigore commenters and gamers can get in on the action.
All you have to do for a chance to play the updated version is send your UDID to beta@mountainsheep.net and identify yourself if you’re one of the more avid Minigorians (it should help your chances a little). I’m no huge contributor to the Minigore community, but I thought I’d send them an e-mail anyway to see if I could sneak into the preview program. If I do happen to get in, you can count on a preview post if they’ll let me write one 😛
It really is too bad that we’ll likely have to wait another two weeks or so for the update to be approved – provided there are no more setbacks.
