‘EIC Crew’ – Music Video Tribute Done with iPhone Apps

EICCrew2

Psylichon (Dave) is one of the moderators over at my favorite iPhone forum, everythingiCafe, as well as one of the friendliest, funniest, and most helpful members there.

He ‘s also a talented musician and involved in production as his profession.  So when he hit the (astounding) 10,000 posts mark yesterday at everythingiCafe (EIC), he decided to do a little something to mark the occasion “ a little tribute tune and video for his ‘EIC Crew ‘, made entirely with iPhone apps.

It ‘s only a short video, but the tune is great and it manages to fit in several of the classic questions and issues that crop up on all iPhone forums. I asked Dave about which apps were used in the making of the video “ here ‘s the breakdown:

Tonepad starts it off
Beatbox free for the drums
miniSynth for the bass
I Am t-Pain for the vocals

Obviously, a little post-production was done to multitrack and sync it all, but the sounds are pretty much raw from the phone, including the vocals.

Check out the video HERE.  If you ‘ve ever spent any time on iPhone forums, this should give you a chuckle – as well as a chance to marvel at what talented folks like Dave can do with iPhone apps.
