Yes, that's the same for me on things like TweetMic and Tweetreel – though they bring different, ancilliary, functions rather than analysis.

One thing though i have a few twitter related apps i use from time to time (like birdbrain) because they bring a different set of tools for analysis and interaction

Patrick have you ever tried to use http://www.shareappscreen.com/ I think it requires you to have a Mac. You have to download a widget which resembles the iPhone and it works very similar to AppsFire. I just really enjoy the web layout for Share Apps Screen.com…..
