Thought nothing much of it but once i use it, it turn out pretty great for getting things done.

Here is a guide showing how i set up 2Do as my GTD App >> http://www.productiveorganizer.com/to-do-list/gtd

After reading this review it did sound and look like a well polished app so I checked their site and was delighted to find that they have updated it with Toodledo support. Up until now I've been either using Toodledo's own app which to be honest has a very poor UI and feature set, or ToDo by Appigo, much better UI but poorly lacking in push reminder options (it's either all or nothing at one preset time). 2do blows both these apps out of the water in all regards. I'm very delighted to have found this review and now feel that I have a todo app which does everything I need.

I haven’t tried this functionality out myself as I’m off playing with Taskpaper, but this new addition means that 2Do now syncs with three services: Toodledo, Outlook, and iCal. […]

By: Taskpaper, like a paper-like task list on your iPhone [iPhone Apps] — Just Another iPhone Blog https://isource.com/2009/10/18/2do-a-stunning-todo-list-with-push-sync-for-iphone/#comment-19880 Mon, 15 Feb 2010 15:01:46 +0000 http://isource.com/iphone-software/2do-a-stunning-todo-list-with-push-sync-for-iphone/%20#comment-19880 […] Taskpaper likely won’t help me with my efficiency, but it sure looks like it might make data entry a little easier. Everything within the respective iPhone and Mac applications is really just formatted text that’s separated by bullet points or line breaks. The result is a UI that should be incredibly simple to understand and use — especially when it comes to creating new tasks. What’s interesting about Taskpaper is that it’s very minimal on the artificial interface front: no checkboxes or fancy categories, just a list of things as if you’d written them down on a piece of paper. You just type tasks in below a category name and then press the Return key to go to the next line. Completing a task is as simple as swiping over it (although the same goes for tasks in 2Do). […]

those are based on push notifications. do you have them set to work with 2Do? There's also a FAQ on the 2Do website – and you can even ask the developers on Twitter (@guidedways).

I bought the application but I have a serious problem. The alarms (ring, message) don't work.
Any idea why? When i set an alarm the icon appears with a red line on it and it doesn't work…
Thank you!

ditto – I love the tabs on this app. Syncing is still a bit wonky, though. Hoping that gets touched up later on.

I like the GTD methodology and the use of a calendar doesn't bother me. When a task is overdue, it just shows up on the next day. I'm not stressed by the words "over due" and continue with my list as needed. I love the tabs and the ability to organize tasks. On the other hand, it's too much for my husband and he prefers the simple Things. It is a matter of preference, but I can give both applications possitive feedback.

I agree. Time Management shouldn't be so rigid. I love Things also for its open-endedness but it needs online sync and a way to add tasks via email.

I went to a Time Management seminar today at school. The prevailing issue people have with Time Management seems to be that they end up planning their day down to the hour then are upset because they end up not sticking to it. If you plan to that level of detail you are pretty much guaranteeing that you will not accomplish it and end up re-scheduling (and wind up using more time planning than doing). And that is what I have against using a calendar for non-rigid tasks.

I downloaded the app and it's really great to use. The UI is nice & simple to use. I like the tabs for organization and I really like having the ability to sync to iCal. It works great over WiFi!!! So like you I highly recommend this app which is a pleasure to use & worth the $3.99.

But I, too, don't like using my calendar for tracking tasks. I also like having an online task list so I can print it out at work as need be. So I'm sticking with RTM. But the way the UI deals with those tabs in 2Do is awfully nice…

I can never get myself to follow GTD principles well enough, but like the concept. I enjoy how Things lets me adopt some of GTD methodology, without using all. I can't get with the tasks in calendar either.
