OK, I may be just a tad biased on this one “ but it made me laugh tons and I ‘m going to declare it the Best Kids iPhone Dock ever. Here ‘s the brief story behind it:
Got my daughter a new app called Dolphin Experience the other night and had a feeling she ‘d like it lots. Wrong “ she was crazy about it, thought it was awesome and a little awesomeness even rubbed off on dad for finding it and getting it.
So she asked for a reminder on how to move its icon to her first home screen.
I gave her the moving icons reminder lesson, but then also asked her whether she ‘d like to have it on her dock. After a brief rundown of what the dock is and how it shows up on all screens, I got an emphatic YES “ pretty much ‘get it on that dock now! ‘.
So I showed her how to get the Dolphin Experience app onto her dock, and she was well pleased with that. Just as a side note, I love her ‘iPhone instincts ‘. When I suggested maybe it was best to replace the Phone app since her phone service is not live anyway, she immediately asked if we could delete the phone icon. 🙂
End of story I thought. She loves the new app, has it on her dock, all is good.
Then around an hour later she says ‘Hey dad “ you wanna see my iPhone dock? ‘ Sure I do.
And now she ‘s kicked out everything serious on the dock. She ‘s got Dolphin Experience, iCreepy Spider Halloween, Lets Draw Some Sheep, and GuardDog2 all set there.
I was so impressed and just busted out laughing because she hadn ‘t even seemed to pay much attention when I showed her how to place an app in the dock. She ‘d looked like ‘just get it done ‘ “ but I should ‘ve known better.
Oh, and the best part of all she also then showed me that she ‘d ‘fixed ‘ her Mom ‘s dock for her “ added the Calendar app for her, which apparently she ‘d been wanting to do for ages.
I reckon another couple years and she ‘ll easily replace me here 🙂
