MacRumors is reporting that Apple’s new 27-inch Intel Core i5 Quad-Core iMacs are now shipping. There is still no word on wether the faster Intel i7 Quad-Core variant has also begun shipping.
Apple released the new 21.5 and 27-inch iMacs two weeks ago, but noted that the Quad-Core 27-inch models wouldn’t be shipping until November. These new 27-inch Quad-Core machines are priced at $1,999 for the i5 model, and $2,199 for the i7 based model.
