What do R.Kelly and Wimbledon have in common? They’re both on the Billboard Live website. Wait, what?
Heading to iphone.ourworldlive.tv is supposed to show anybody in the world live streams of artists, but when I tap on the Watch Now button next to the giant picture of R.Kelly I’m somehow re-directed to coverage of Wimbledon. I got served.
Maybe I’m supposed to wait for the date for the actual stream, but the Billboard Live site doesn’t make that very clear, and I can watch R.Kelly just fine on the desktop site. What also gets me is that Billboard Live isn’t even iPhone-optimized (displays like a desktop weboage that’s nearly empty) even though the URL has the word “iPhone” in it. I’m thinking this could use a little more work, and maybe a fewer tennis links waiting in ambush.
Anybody actually get this site to work properly? I’d figure that it’s because I’m not a US-citizen, but as I mentioned, the desktop client works just fine.
