I am in love with this app. I bought & downloaded PogoPlank which I enjoyed to use but I found myself hunting through folders sometimes looking for a certain app. I also felt like using PogoPlank was more work especially when you downloaded a new app & then you want to add it to a folder. Overboard is smooth, I already pretty much have all my apps organized by screen so this works for me. I love one click on the homebutton springs Overboard to life at an amazing speed. I love the built in spotlight search too. Well jailbreaking is GREAT and this UI impresses some friends with the cool look.

By: Orbit 1.1 released – iPhone Exposé gets a few more features, still no pinching | Just Another iPhone Blog https://isource.com/2009/11/20/you-could-use-orbit-for-iphone-expose-or-you-could-try-overboard-instead/#comment-16071 Mon, 23 Nov 2009 00:53:06 +0000 http://isource.com/?p=12083#comment-16071 […] One welcome new feature is auto-resizing of the home screen thumbnails if you only have 5 screens – this means much bigger previews when using Orbit, so it’s a lot easier to identify apps at a glance. Still no pinch activation, though — so if you’d like that right now, you’re looking at OverBoard 1.0. […]

Thanks for the feedback…you're kind tempting me to get it now, but I'm sticking to one home screen for as long as I can.

It's lightning fast, and has pinch and home button support. When I open Orbit, some of the thumbnails aren't themed (doesn't take icons from my WinterBoard theme) and takes a few seconds to generate the pages. But OverBoard uses my theme's icons and loads instantly.

Works great. Seems slicker than Orbit and the screen pinch to launch is a nice feature.

It wasn't until I uninstalled Orbit that I realised how useful (read vital) an 'Expose' type app is. Flicking screens now seems so antiquated, whereas at one time it was really innovative.
