Apple really is pushing the strength of the App Store “ and the range of apps available “ as a prime selling point for the iPhone. The latest promotional email I ‘ve seen from them pitches the idea of giving ‘The iPhone Gift Card ‘ to get one in the hands of a friend or loved one this holiday season.
For all the faults of the reviews process and all the griping we do about it here, I still think this is a good strategy. Apps are still one of the platform ‘s biggest killer features and should be touted as often as possible.
