Howdy iPhone geeks! Just a quick rundown of a very useful app that is currently on sale, down to $0 from $1.99, and I think $0 is the best price you can get!

This is called iInformation Pro. It’s basically a Task Manager, for the geeks like myself that want to see what’s going on under the hood of your fancy little phone. There are 4 standard tabs, Memory, Process, System, and Battery. Their functions are pretty self-explanatory, but I’ll run through them briefly for you.

Memory shows you how much of the phones’ RAM memory is currently being used based on four classifications, and can be displayed as percentages, or bytes.

The Process tab shows you what processes are currently running, including the date and time that they were launched, and includes an ‘other’ button which will show you the running processes that do not fit on the main tab page.

System shows you all your system info of course, including your disk space (total, used, and free), time since the phones’ last shutdown, your phones’ name, IP address, and so on.

Using the Battery tab, you will see the graphical battery, with the current battery power displayed in a percentage. Below the graphic, shows you if the phone is currently charging, and what it’s power source is.

There’s also a ‘more’ link next to the Battery tab which allows you to swap icons on the main toolbar.

Overall, this is a great app for people like myself, and those of us who constantly play with Task Manager to see what exactly our toy is doing in the background. And best of all, the price is right !

You can find iInformation pro in the APP Store now, and it ‘s free of course.
