2Do Lite released for iPhone

2Do Lite

2Do is my current task manager, but it’s not exactly in impulse buy territory at $5.99 (though it is cheaper than Things or ToDo at their $9.99 price point). 2Do Lite, on the other hand, may be a great way for you to see if you like the app’s way of organizing things into calendars and tabs. I think it’s the most accessible task manager on the App Store thus far, although it might not be the fastest (loads in about 3-4 secs on 3GS).

As with all lite versions, you’ve got some limits: you’ve got no syncing, alarms, or push notifications of any kind — just three calendars (excluding “All” and “Today”) with 25 tasks in each one. This likely isn’t going to be one of those versions that you stick with as a freebie because it offers just enough functionality for you, but it is a good, solid look at what the 2Do UI is all about.
