It’s very comforting to be able to blame your stupidity on anything but yourself, isn’t it? You can’t ‘brick’ your iphone from installing a program like this, it’s impossible, they don’t access the firmware subroutines necessary to even make that possible.

No, if it’s truly bricked, it’s something your own actions caused.

And it's just about impossible to actually 'brick' these things. You're always just another DFU restore away from a glorious (black)ra1ny day.

Just use AptBackup or Chronos to backup your jailbreak apps and the process should be pretty damned painless.

as in…just bricked your iPhone today? or you tried it before? Darn thing about JB is that there are so many factors. Cydget isn't even 1.0 yet so I'm assuming it's all still in a beta of some sort, but it seems okay so far on my device as well as from the limited reading I've done on forums and other sites.
