Here’s a quick tip that works nicely on the PC for syncing your desktop bookmarks with your iPhone. It uses the cross-browser bookmark syncing utility, Xmarks, and involves you syncing your Firefox bookmarks (assuming that’s your main browser – it’s not Patrick’s) with Internet Explorer and then syncing the IE bookmarks to your iPhone or brand spanking new iPod Touch. It’s a good idea, but I won’t bite on this one. I browse differently on my iPhone than I do on my MacBook because of the lack of flash, and the 10″ difference in screen size between the two devices, and so I’ve got no need to sync the bookmarks across the two platforms. It’s also a Windows-only tip, the way it’s written up.
