In reply to Mr. Bungle. This EXACT same thing has been happening to me for weeks. I've reinstalled the FB app, even restored/.rejailbroken my phone (because of another issue.) I still keep getting notifications that I shouldn't! Sometimes they're in a completely different language!

I know what your talking about, but in this case that’s not it. Its telling me that people I don’t know are commenting on my posts and photos that don’t exist. When the push comes up and I hit the “view” button, it goes to the facebook status updates, and what it’s pushed to me is nowhere to be found.

That's probably Facebook more than Push. Facebook is set up by default to show you the posts of other people (even non-friends) if they post on the same comment/picture/wall post /whatever that you did. I get a lot of those, too.

Anyone else having issues with push on jailbreak devices? I’m constantly getting push notifications from people that aren’t my friends at all, even after I’ve turned off push notifications for everything in the settings for the facebook app. Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

I'm a bit pissed off. I closed my Facebook and Twitter account 31st Dec 2009, stating that I'd do well in 2010, and thus use them less, and less, or if ever.

I was browing the World Wide Web yesterday only to see everybody and their mama talking about PUSH for Facebook. So, what did I have to do? Re-open my account.

Now, all I want to know is, who do I call a have a fight with because SOUNDS are NOT working?

PS: re-opening my Twitter account now, and adding JaiPb 😉
