Bleed burnt orange? The University of Texas at Austin is now available wherever you go.

The University of Texas is one of the largest colleges in the US “ and its nestled right in the center of my home town of Austin.  The school is big in lots of ways “ not least because of its 50,000 students, and its football, basketball, baseball, track, and all sorts of sporting teams that are consistently among the nation ‘s best.

It also has an iPhone app “ called simply The University of Texas at Austin.  The app is published by the university itself and looks big and feature-rich, like a good fit for the school itself, with features that cover keeping up with UT news, campus-related events, sports news and scores, a UT directory, and more.

Here are more details on some of the app ‘s key features:

UT News: Read the latest UT news, from breakthrough research to business, computing to medicine, arts to humanities, and more.

UT Directory: Stay connected as you search by first and last names for phone numbers and e-mail addresses. Then tap to call, e-mail, or locate on a map.
