MobileMe Gallery is a new iPhone app from Apple themselves, the second one they ‘ve published aimed at MobileMe users (the previous one is iDisk).
This one provides access to images and videos you ‘ve saved to MobileMe.
There ‘s not a whole lot to this app. You can view your MobileMe pics and videos within their albums. You can copy an individual image or save it to your Camera Roll, and email links to entire albums to friends.
There ‘s pinch to zoom when browsing photos and landscape mode available, as well as offline access to previously viewed images.
One thing I noticed that is missing is the ability to select multiple photos at once for copying/sharing when viewing an album, as you can in the built-in Photos app.
MobileMe Gallery does what it says on the box, and it ‘s nice to see Apple (slowly) extending the range of access we have to MobileMe stored content on the iPhone “ but I ‘m thinking I might rather see the functionality of this app and iDisk combined, instead of needing two apps to provide these two (pretty basic) types of features.
