Battle Bears updated to 1.5: moar bear, moar weapons, moar cutscenes [iPhone App Updates]

Battle Bears for iPhone (review here) was recently updated to version 1.5.   I haven’t played the game in a while (it was actually uninstalled), and so the the joke about the third thumb took me by surprise once more.

Bear in mind, the core gameplay and controls are still the same, but there are now a few more weapons to fight with, and completely new bosses to use them on. My favourite so far has been the Bearbershop quartet. Every single new weapon or boss fight features an all-new, hilarious cutscene, so even  if you’ve finished Battle Bears before, you’ll still want to give version 1.5 another look. If you don’t own the game yet, Battle Bears is definitely one of the more psychedelic games on the App Store, but it’s a lot of fun! It’s actually on sale right now for $0.99 (normally $1.99).
