I ‘m sure there are many ways to tell when your kiddo is thoroughly enjoying an iPhone app. Here are a few that were on display from my 6.75 year old daughter last night, while she was playing Flick Fishing:
— First she told me it was good that her thumb was recovering from hurting a lot, which was caused by ‘reeling all those fish in ‘.
— She then proceeded to let me know it would soon be hurting again though “ as she was not (at all!) done with fishing
— Finally, a short while later, when she was being ushered off to get ready for bed, she said ‘hey Dad “ look at my wallpaper ‘. That ‘d be the one shown in the screenie above “ showing off a record catch.
I think it was part pride, and part ‘beat that ‘ challenge, as she ‘s been encouraging me to give the app a try 🙂
I may have to get hold of Flick Fishing soon for myself “ it seems like $0.99 very well spent already.
