Apple Introduces New, Redesigned Mac mini

Apple has quietly introduced a new, redesigned Mac mini. The new design is all aluminum, and has a removable bottom for access to the internals. On the back, just as rumored, the new Mac mini has an HDMI port so you can hook it up to your HD TV and use it as a media server. The new machine also has an SD card slot on the back.

The new Mac mini is only 7.7 inches wide, 7.7 inches long, and 1.4 inches deep. This new smaller case still houses a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 2GB of RAM, a GeForce 320M graphics chip, a 320GB hard drive and an 8X SuperDrive, all as a standard configuration at $699. You can also build-to-order, or pick up the disc drive-less server model.

This machine does look sharp if I do say so myself. Perfect for someone switching to the Mac.
