Services Toggle Adding Insult to Injury in iOS 4?

Toggle iPhone 3G on and off

It’s bad enough that toggling key services (and services that have major impact on battery life) is stupidly difficult on the iPhone.  Now, at least for me, on iOS 4 (GM build), at least one critical service is ‘forgetting’ the Off state when I toggle to it on a very frequent basis.

That service is 3G.  More often than not, when I toggle it off, I later discover it has remained on – and I’ve found it doing this a large number of times even when I only move back two levels within the Settings app and then take a look to check its status.

Anyone else seeing this in iOS 4 GM build, or is it just me?
