MacRumors is reporting that several of their readers’ iPhone 4 orders have been shipped by Apple. Customers are being issued FedEx tracking numbers and shipment notifications. Some are even reporting that their notifications state their shipment “Delivers By” June 23, which is a day before the official launch of the iPhone 4.
As report notes, and I will echo, Apple has been known to hold delivers until the official launch day of a product. For instance my iPad order, prior to the official launch of April 3rd, sat in a warehouse in Louisville for a couple of days before being delivered to me.
