iClarified has a leaked version of Best Buy’s iPhone 4 launch plans wherein they reveal that they are expecting “minimal inventory” and aren’t even sure they can fulfill all of the pre-orders that were placed. Best Buy will not know if they are able to fulfill their pre-orders until they get their inventory numbers later this week.
Right now it looks bad if you’re someone, like me, who didn’t get a chance to pre-order the iPhone 4 before they ran out.
I asked around at several retailers in multiple cities, and it seems that most of them that will be offering the iPhone 4 will have at least a few in inventory on launch day. So, get in line early on June 24th, and hope you can get one.
