Same with me – pre-ordered at Best Buy. Got there at 10 AM, left at 10:15 AM – very fast and friendly.

Should have went to BestBuy I was in an out in less than 20 minutes. They let me take it home to activate.

im not so sure it's entirely att and apple's fault. Don't forget to include the individual's organizational skills into that equation. When i got mine this am, there were a lot of people struggling to get their act together when it came to switching or starting new accounts. not sure of account status, needing to look up, etc. I also saw a lot of people getting activated and walking out very quickly. I sympathize with your plight. My friend is still standing in the equivalent line since 4:20 this am.

I'm so sorry that you're still waiting! You'd think that by now, Apple & AT&T would have this process, down.

I have a feeling they, AT&T, are forcing this process to avoid people buying iPhones, and thus not registeractivate them…
