I decided to walk into Walmart at 7:30am and was able to get the only one the store had been shipped. I've heard the lines at the two Apple Stores here in Milwaukee were nearly as long as those in Austin.

Got there around 5:45 AM, store opened at 7 AM. I'd estimate 500 or so were ahead of me, and as I was walking out of the store with my reserved phone at 11 AM, I'd estimate 500 or so were waiting in line. Pretty sure next time I do this, I'll be ordering it online and having it shipped to me.

At 9:30 an employee came out and counted and everyone from 10 people ahead of us ended up on the probably-will-not get line.
