Just a quick note here on launch day. Apple has announced that the white iPhone 4 model will be available in the “second half of July.” The reason for the delay? Manufacturing hiccups.
White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have proven more challenging to manufacture than expected, and as a result they will not be available until the second half of July. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected.
So, supplies of black iPhone 4s have been bought up until at least mid-July and the white models won’t even debut until then. Yikes, this is going to be a rough launch.
