Just days ago, Apple CEO Steve Jobs answered complaint emails regarding iPhone 4 reception issues, stating it was a “Non issue. Just don’t hold it in that way,” and later copy/pasting segments of Apple’s official press release. Now, something has changed his tune. A MacRumors reader emailed Jobs stating:
“I love everything about the phone except my signal issues.”
Jobs fired a response back:
There are no reception issues. Stay Tuned.
Again, this isn’t just a copy/paste from Apple’s official statement. Instead, the new response would suggest Apple is working on a fix of some sort, for the handful of user that are being affected by this problem.
The original press release almost has a tone of nonchalance about it, wherein they essential blow off complaints by stating this is a common phenomenon amongst mobile phones. Uh-huh.
That said, a report has emerged suggesting that there might be a software fix on the way as early as Monday. We’ll keep you updated.
