Beejive was already ridiculously fast, thanks to the recent 3.4 update. It was loading up in about two seconds, and was usable almost immediately after that. However, it seems that nothing can compare to the speed of Apple’s Fast App Switching API, and even though I thought this was impossible, Beejive is even faster now. We’re talking a one second load time on an iPhone 3GS, once the app has been loaded at least once before. I’d still very much like to see a better push notification system (pop-up windows are so clumsy), but I’ll take this multi-tasking update in the meantime.
The has also been updated to look better on the iPhone 4, but I can’t attest to that on my 3GS.
