Just a few weeks ago, prior to the iPhone 4 launch, an image surfaced on Apple’s own website that suggested the company’s iWork productivity suite would be coming to the iPhone.
Well, today we have yet another hint on Apple’s own site that suggest more of the same. Ok, so if you go to purchase an unlocked iPhone on several of Apple’s international online stores, you are then presented with the option to ad an “AppleCare” plan to your order. Clicking on the “Learn More” link on the AppleCare page, and then following the link devoted to software assistance, you will find a bullet point that states, “Using iWork for iPhone and other Apple-branded iPhone apps”, as one of the areas of assistance offered in the AppleCare plan.
Like I’ve said before, it’s only a matter of time before Apple releasees the iWork apps for iPhone. After all, Apple has already created versions for the iPad, and iMovie (one of iLife apps) for iPhone 4. Additionally, iOS 4 brings bluetooth keyboard support to the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4. This of course, would make it a breeze to type a paper on the iPhone even with the device’s limited screen real-estate.
