I agree that nothing can come close to those dealextreme/from Hong Kong with free shipping online shops in terms of price. But I also don't like many of the cheap retractable cables that are available for sale – that's why I wanted to check this one out.

So, if I have 20 cables (I don't, but I do have several)-I can keep 1 at work (I do), 1 in my travel gear bag (I do), 1 in my car (I do), 1 next to where I keep my computer (for some reason I don't), and 1 where my phone sleeps (which is only when I do, and again, I do). That still leaves me about 15 cables.

I also could even wrap it up tight and put it on my keychain or in my pockets (I don't, keychain is for keys, and left pocket is for iPhone 4, and right pocket is for Apple headphones).

I think I am covered without this product, and have more flexibility and money as a result. Still, its an interesting idea and I applaud the effort, just not the price.
